Cookie policy
This cookie policy is compiled based on the current functions of the MosquitoBang website. By default, the website must not load cookies, external services or non-technical tracking tools before the user's consent.
1. What cookies and similar tools are
Cookies are small files or information saved on the user's device while browsing. Similar technologies, such as localStorage, scripts, iframes, pixels, web beacons or other tracking tools, may be used to remember preferences, operate services or collect technical information.
2. Principles applied by the website
In line with the Italian Data Protection Authority's guidance and the GDPR, the website applies these principles:
- no non-technical cookie or tracker is loaded before consent;
- consent is not presumed and does not derive from simply scrolling the page;
- the user can accept, reject or use only necessary tools;
- refusal does not prevent browsing the website;
- the choice is saved to avoid showing the banner at every visit;
- the user can reopen preferences through the "Cookie" button on the website.
3. Necessary technical tools
Technical tools are necessary for the website's operation, security and management of privacy choices. They do not require prior consent.
- Cookie consent preference: saves the user's choice in the browser via localStorage, so the banner is not shown at every visit.
- Server technical logs: may include IP address, date, time, requested URL and browser technical data, for security, error diagnosis and abuse prevention.
- Contact form operation: allows the request to be sent to BANG SRL and manages the privacy consent connected with the form.
4. Google Maps
The website may display a Google Maps map to indicate the BANG SRL office. The map is not loaded automatically when the page opens. It is activated only after consent or after a voluntary click on the "Show map" button.
When the map is loaded, Google may process technical data such as IP address, device information and browsing data according to its own policy. If the user does not consent, the website shows an information box with the address and a button to open Maps externally.
5. WhatsApp and external links
The website contains links to WhatsApp, phone, Google Maps and connected websites. Simply loading the page does not automatically activate WhatsApp. If the user clicks an external link, data processing also follows the terms and notices of the third-party service used.
6. Analytics, marketing and profiling
The website uses Umami, a statistics tool hosted on BANG SRL's server. It measures, in aggregate form, visits, pages viewed, technical referral sources and actions on the website such as clicks on WhatsApp, phone, inspection requests and form submissions.
Umami displays no advertising, does not use data for marketing purposes, does not share data with advertising networks and does not use profiling cookies or persistent identifiers. Statistical data is processed within the technical infrastructure used by BANG SRL to manage the website and is not used for automated decisions about users.
If advertising, profiling, external CRM, newsletter or marketing automation tools are added in the future, the cookie policy and the banner will be updated before activation and any necessary consents will be collected.
7. Tracking pixels in emails
As of the update date, the website does not provide newsletters or email sends with tracking pixels. If in the future BANG SRL uses email marketing, newsletters or communications with tracking pixels, the user must be clearly informed and must be able to give or withdraw consent under the applicable rules.
8. Managing and withdrawing consent
The user can manage consent from the initial banner or by reopening preferences through the "Cookie" button. The available options are:
- Accept: also enables external services that are not technically necessary, such as embedded Google Maps.
- Reject: keeps only the necessary technical tools.
- Necessary only: allows browsing without unnecessary services.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. The user may also delete cookies and local data from browser settings.
9. Browser settings
Every browser allows deleting cookies, localStorage and data from visited websites. Disabling the necessary technical tools may compromise certain functions, such as remembering the cookie choice or correctly sending the form.
10. Updates
This notice may be updated if the technical tools, providers, website functions or applicable rules change.
